What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

 I ask clients to make a strong commitment to the therapeutic process, which includes meeting scheduled appointments regularly. However, I also realize there will be circumstances beyond our control. I ask for 24-hour notice to change or cancel appointments to avoid paying for the appointment in full.  

What are my options for payment?

I currently accept cash and all credit cards and am a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO. I am in network with Blue Choice PPO.  

COVID-19 Coverage

Are you offering Teletherapy appointments and is it covered by my insurance?

 I am currently temporarily transitioning therapy to remote sessions using a video teleconferencing service. Getting therapy this way is sometimes called “teletherapy”.  Teletherapy session coverage varies considerably by insurance plans. Before our first session, please talk with your insurance company to learn more about what is covered under your plan.

How long do sessions last?

Typically, your therapy session will last between 45-50 minutes in length which is a typical psychotherapy hour.

I am unsure about therapy, do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, I offer a free initial consultation. Please call or email me to set up an appointment for that.
