About The Practice
Sometimes, life can feel overwhelming and our stressors can feel bigger than everything else around us. We may feel a disconnect between how we imagine ourselves to be and our realities on the ground. Things may feel stuck and we may find ourselves struggling to keep things moving forward. It may seem like there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all the tasks we need to accomplish. We may feel tapped out and in need of replenishment. Our relationships may feel less authentic. We may feel lonely and unimportant, struggling to connect in the midst of fractured relationships. Our thoughts and emotions may feel difficult to understand or sometimes even connect with.
How I can help
Understanding and becoming aware of inaccurate or negative thinking can help you view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them appropriately. I will work with you using evidence based CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Techniques) to help lift the constraints in your life and see things with a fresh perspective. Though I am comfortable with CBT and DBT techniques, I draw upon different models of therapy to create a custom therapy experience that fits your particular needs and problems you are coming in with.

I view therapy as a pillar to helping you become stronger and more capable than perhaps you were even aware of. I will work with you to help empower you in living the life that you imagined for yourself, not just dreaming about it. I will work as your teammate to help you achieve the sort of relationships that you want to be surrounded with and help you fill your life with experiences that feel in line with who you are at your core.
